Its Spring time near Rollins Pass and there is still a good amount of snow left on the ground. Even so, the weather is warm and everytihng is silent for a wonderful hike.
It is amazing sometimes how the light falls through the trees and seems to direct you to the details on the forest floor. Looking closer at this tree stump the amount of detail in the morning light is great! Makes me appreciate the little things.

A frost storm came in quickly one afternoon in Broomfield Colorado leaving the trees with amazing ice crystals on their branches.
A cloud of frost rolled through the hills in Broomfield Colorado leaving these amazing frost crystals on the trees. The bitter cold didnt last long though and these crystals soon disappeared.
